About Matt

Matt's Story

Born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Matt's passion for golf began at an early age. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, he honed his skills and knowledge under the guidance of renowned instructor Dave Pelz, gaining invaluable insights into the art and science of shooting lower scores.

Matt expanded his expertise as the Assistant Men's Golf Coach at the University of Tennessee, where he worked closely with collegiate athletes to help them achieve peak performance. These diverse experiences have shaped his innovative teaching philosophy, allowing him to develop personalized methods tailored to golfers of all skill levels.

A lifelong advocate for learning, Matt has spent the past 20 years training and earning certifications in advanced technologies such as 3-D analysis, TrackMan, and Flightscope. He leverages these tools to validate his methods and ensure his students achieve measurable results.

When he's not coaching, Matt enjoys playing golf and exploring the outdoors, continuing to draw inspiration from the game he loves.
